Welcome to Naheola Credit Union Online!
Naheola Credit Union is at home in West Alabama. This is where we started and where we continue to serve our members.
Our logo is the old train/auto bridge that connected Choctaw and Marengo Counties. This bridge is located at the Naheola paper mill and was one of a kind, with cars as well as trains traveling the same bridge.
The Naheola Credit Union was started by employees of Naheola Mill who knew they would need financial security.
Our main office is located in Choctaw County, but we now have branches in Marengo County (Demopolis) and Mobile County (Creola) and we serve 11 surrounding counties.
NEW PAR VALUE
Naheola Credit Union has been in business for 50 years and we have never raised our par value (the minimum amount that has to remain in your share account to keep it open) in that length of time. With the rising costs of maintaining accounts, regrettably, we have had to raise the par value on our accounts. New members must now deposit $25.25 to open a new account and $25.00 is the minimum that must remain in a share account to keep it open. Existing members will have until January 1, 2010, to bring their share accounts up to the $25.00 minimum.

Recently, Naheola Credit Union has been informed that members are being contacted by phone concerning their account. The caller is stating they are with a fraud protection service of Naheola Credit Union and ask for the member’s account information. The caller may ask for the name as it appears on the account, account number, member address, and most importantly the members Social Security Number. This service is in no way connected to Naheola Credit Union and NO information should be given out.
